Fantastic Open Evening turnout

We have had a fantastic turnout of families attending our Open Evenings and we really hope they join our school in September 2023. If you have not yet visited the school, we are holding another event on Tuesday 10th January 2023 from 5pm–6pm.

Valuing parent voice

We have held several workshops this half term to support parents to understand learning in the early years, these include a phonics workshop and a primary basics workshop.

We raised £337 for Children in Need

BBC Children in Need at Mulberry Wood Wharf was a huge success this year raising £337 for the charity.

The children came to school wearing yellow and/or spotty clothes for Children In Need. Many children baked cakes with their families, which they brought in to compete in The Great Mulberry Wood Wharf Bake-Off. Everyone had such brilliant cakes, and we all got to enjoy them in the bake sale at the end of the day.

New building update

Our new building in Wood Wharf is coming along brilliantly and we can’t wait to move during the spring/summer terms. We are excited to have placed some wonderful banners on the exterior of the building to inform passers-by that Mulberry Wood Wharf will be based there.

Mudchute Farm (4th November)

For the school’s first ever trip, the children of Tiger Class went to Mudchute Farm, where they met sheep, goats, cows, pigs, chickens and even alpacas! The children loved learning about all the animals and what they are kept for, as well as the chance to explore their local area more.
